Calido ball valves are destined to be installed in central heating systems, drinking water systems, pneumatic and oil systems. All materials are suitable to be in contact with drinking water and up to 40% glycol solutions The construction and assembly of the stem prevents it from being pushed out of the valve’s body as a result of sudden pressure rise. The valves are equipped in steel handles covered with anti-corrosion GEOMET layer and material overlay. Optionally they can be equipped in butterfly handle, powder coated. The construction of the valve and its handle enables to change the side of the handle assembly.
Calido garden valves is a series of frost-resistant, water, ball valves controlled by hand with hose connector, gland nut and handle. All valves within this series have body forged from one piece of brass which ensures their excellent inner and outer leak tightness in comparison to two-piece bodies. The bodies of the valves are equipped with flow steering fitting. Inner tightness are ensured by specially designed sealing which in temperatures below zero can take the growth of the volume of freezing water.
Additionally in case of water freezing inside the valve special construction of the ball allows to pipe away the rising volume of freezing water into the direction of a water system. Thus it is not allowed for the pressure to rise inside the valve’s body which could damage the valve during temperature outside below zero. In spite of the safety solutions the producer recommends during freeze to empty the system from the water and leave the ball in half-open position.
In ARKA offer there are also garden valves with quick-connector and with hose connector and quick-connector.

Calido ESKIMOS two-pipe system connection heating valves, essential characteristics and advantages:
  • the stem of the valve is divided – it allows to exchange o-rings without empting the system from water (invention’s application no P.412855),
  • no joint between valves – possibility of adjusting the valves individually to powering and returning pipes,
  • large flow factors: Kv = 2,4 m3/h (straight valve), Kv = 2,8 m3/h (angle valve) – low flow resistant – smaller consumption of energy by circulating pumps,
  • possibility of regulation and cut-off with 6 mm hex key – easy and precise regulation and prolonged lifespan of the spindle,
  • end cap on the regulation / closing mechanism – protection of the mechanism from the damage and intrusive intervention,
  • bodies are forged from one-piece European brass CW617N – guarantee of leak tightness, durability and long lifespan of the valve,
  • in a set with nipples 1/2″ x 3/4″ – ready to assembly,
  • packed in sets in boxes,
  • Compliance Certificate with Pressure Directive 97/23/WE article 3 point 3, manufactured according to norm PN-M-75016-1992 – confirmation of high product quality.
Calido strainer filters are destined to assembly in drinking water systems, hot water systems, central heating systems and floor heating. Their task is to protect the system from damages by filtering mechanical impurities such as pieces of metal or rust. Thus the filters prolong the life of the system. Strainer filters can be installed in vertical and horizontal position – arrow on the body must be always directed according to the flow. They are made of one-piece body with cap which allows the filter cleaning.
Calido check valves are destined to assembly in drinking water systems, hot water systems, central heating systems and floor heating. Their task is to protect the system from return flows. Check valves can be installed in vertical and horizontal position – arrow on the body must be always directed according to the flow.
Calido cast iron check valves are malleable, threaded valves which are packed in individual boxes.Their task is to automatically switch between gravitational circulation (state: pump is turned off, valve is opened) and forced circulation (state: pump is turned on; valve is closed). These valves allow the liquid to flow only in one direction. They open automatically when the pump is turned off. Such construction causes that the gravitational circulation operates effectively.
Calido pump bypass systems have the task of protection the boiler from sudden pressure rise of hot water in situation when there is no power supply in the driver and the pump. During normal pump’s work cast iron check valves are closed. When the power supply is off the valves open themselves and hot water vents from the boiler, which in normal situation flows through working pump. Two valves which are installed on the bypass system allows to dismantle the pump without releasing water from the system.
Calido safety groups:
– forms complete protective system for heating and water installations against dangerous pressure’s increase, which is caused by water temperature’s increase and its thermal expansiveness,
– protect the installations themselves as well as devices which work on them against damages,
– measure static pressure and can be used for setting initial pressure in the installation.
Safety group is an essential device in every water and heating installation, pumps’ and solar installations which works in closed system.
